Biomaterials - Bionic man, fact or fiction?

29 June 2016 09:00-16:15, Grantham, United Kingdom

Introduction
This free one day conference is the seventh in a series of events designed to improve subject knowledge and promote more confident teaching.  'Biomaterials - Bionic man, fact or fiction?' will be taking place at the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining office in Grantham on Wednesday 29 June 2016.

Biomaterials is a field that many find fascinating but know little about.  By joining us you will be able to hear from experts from industry and academia about the latest materials and technologies being used to repair and replace body parts, deliver drugs and diagnose illness.

In order to make it easier for you to be able to attend we are offering a £100 contribution towards the cost of cover for practicing teachers and the conference itself is free to attend.
