Introduction
To the benefit of academia, industry and the public at large, the harnessing of innovative ideas and expertise that reside within Universities into significant products is enabled by the partnerships brokered and developed through Technology Transfer.

This meeting looks at the many aspects of Technology Transfer, with an overview of the key processes, perspectives from academia and industry, sources of funding, the importance of securing strong intellectual property rights and how those rights may be licensed effectively as well as the government's role in enabling Technology Transfer.

This meeting will be of interest to anyone in academia and industry who would like to know more about the expectations and the processes of Technology Transfer and additionally, to anyone interested in innovation and looking for a career move. A fantastic opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas.
