Introduction

ECSSC XII 2009 will cover all aspects of solid state chemistry such as crystal chemistry and bonding in solids, crystal growth mechanisms, diffusion and epitaxy, high-pressure processes, magnetic and optical properties, phase equilibria and transformation, reactions at surfaces, and transport phenomena. The included electrochemical part will focus on batteries and energy storage, SOFC's, electrode materials, electrolyte materials, photovoltaics, and supercapacitors.
