Professor Mercedes Maroto-Valer (Heriot Watt University) - Leader of UK Industrial Decarbonisation Research and Innovation Centre, as well as Deputy Principal of Global Sustainability and Director of the Research Centre for Carbon Solutions at Heriot-Watt University. Primary research interests include "innovation for the wider deployment of low-carbon energy systems required for meeting carbon targets, including...low carbon fuels..."Professor Mark Symes (University of Glasgow) - Leader of the Symes Group at University of Glasgow and Professor of Electrochemistry and Electrochemical Technology. Primary research interests "are in developing new electrochemical processes and electrochemical technology for the more sustainable production of fuels and key chemical feedstocks".
Professor Sara Walker SFHEA (University of Birmingham) - Professor of Energy and Co-Director of the Birmingham Energy Institute. Research focus on energy transitions, and whole energy systems, with an interest in building energy performance and hydrogen integration into energy systems".
