The Blending Room have been roasting a range of single origin coffees as well as blends in Hull since 2009. James Wilkins (the owner) will present a tour of the Blending Room Coffee Roastery which will include discussion of how coffee gets processed from the bush to the bean, the science and art of coffee roasting, the advantages and disadvantages of different brewing methods as well as cupping (analytical tasting) of different coffees. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, as well as the opportunity to purchase some of the excellent coffee they produce.
