Please join us for the 2025 RSC Kent Local Section AGM which is your chance to see what your committee have done for members in Kent throughout last year and also ask those tricky questions! After the AGM there will be a cold buffet and drinks and then a talk at approximately 2000 by Dr Belinda Kemp.
Dr Kemp is Group Leader - Viticulture and Oenology Research at Niab-East Malling. Her talk will cover some aspects of her research on the chemistry of sparkling wines and how and why this changes at each at each stage of production to give changes in appearance and flavour. We will also hope to have a tour of the research vineyard, weather permitting.
There will be an opportunity after the lecture to network and catch-up. The Orchard Events Venue at Niab is a 15 minute walk from East Malling railway station. Disabled parking is available and the meeting rooms are accessible by wheelchair. The tour of the research vineyard will involve walking on rough, potentially wet ground.
All members and partners/guests are welcome
The cost for members and guests will be £5.00 pp. To attend, please return the form below no later than Wednesday 10 June 2026, electronically to Dave Alker at dave.alker@btinternet.com or by post to 19 Shakespeare Road, Birchington, CT7 9ET.
E-payment is preferred: Payment details will be sent to you once you have registered
Please reserve ____ places at the RSC Kent Section AGM at £5.00 pp.
