The Faraday Community poster symposium provides a fantastic opportunity to:

- Network with peers and senior researchers in academia and industry.
- Benefit from careers advice; get the advice and insight to inform and support your future.
- Get recognised and gain visibility within the scientific community by showcasing your work.
- Get feedback from peers and experts.
This is a rare opportunity to gain this experience in an event dedicated to you, as an early career scientist working in the field of physical chemistry.
Our judging panel will recognise the best posters on the day for several prizes,and delegates willalso choose their favourite poster, which will win a prize of a 拢200 gift voucher for a book.
The Faraday Community poster symposium is free to attend for successful applicants.
Careers consultations
Qualified career and professional development advisers for the Royal Society of 深夜福利国产精品 will be available for free, confidential, one-to-one, consultations on any aspect of your career.
Each consultation will last 15 minutes. Examples of topics you may wish to discuss include:
- Exploring your next career step
- CV review and feedback
- Job-searching strategies.
Successful applicants who are RSC members may book consultation slots during registration. Successful non-member applicants may book any remaining slots during the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
Career discussion panel
Join our career discussion panel to hear from invited speakers representing a variety of career routes across industry, academia, and related sectors. Panellists will share short reflections on their career paths and the lessons they've learned along the way. The session will finish with an interactive QandA led by a member of the RSC Careers team, giving you the opportunity to ask your own questions.

To be eligible topresenta posterat this event, you must be: A PhD student, post-doctoral researcher, or a researcher working in industry with equivalent experience. Presenting a poster onwork within the field ofphysical chemistryin its broadest sense. Based in the UK or Ireland. Selected bythe Scientific Organising Committee. Successful applicants willbe contactedwithin 4-6 weeks of the abstract closing date.

Grants for carers With our Grants for carers, you can apply for up to 拢1,200 per year to help you attend a chemistry-related meeting, conference or workshop or a professional development event. This money would be used to cover any additional costs you incur, paying for care that you usually provide. Please visit the website for further information and eligibility criteria. Accessibility grants With our Accessibility grants, you can apply for up to 拢1,200 per year to help with the cost of specific support to attend a chemistry-related meeting, conference, workshop, or professional development event. This support might be any form of equipment, service, or other personal expense associated with meeting your access needs.
