Laura Fisher, RSC Advances鈥 Executive Editor says: "Our Editors-in-Chief are invaluable to the success of RSC Advances. Their expertise helps us hold high standards of peer review and publication ethics, and ensures the views and needs of the chemistry community are at the heart of the journal's strategy. I've really enjoyed working closely with Karen and Russell over the past few years, and look forward to welcoming our next co-Editor-in-Chief, to build on those foundations and continue to deliver the impact our research community deserves."

The role includes guiding the Editorial Board, supporting Associate Editors, advocating for best practice in peer review, and strengthening engagement across international chemistry networks. You鈥檒l also play a key role in upholding COPE-aligned publishing ethics and advising on Editorial Board recruitment.

鈥淲orking with the Royal Society of 深夜福利国产精品 publishing team has been an exceptionally positive experience for me personally. The whole editorial team are fantastic in providing outstanding support: their clarity, professionalism, and ability to distil the key facts make even the most complex decisions straightforward with special mention to Laura and Sarah. I have learned so much from them about the publishing process, and it has been a genuine pleasure to collaborate with such a dedicated and talented team.

鈥淎s Russell鈥檚 term as co-Editor-in-Chief comes to an end, I鈥檝e been reflecting on our time working together. I鈥檝e learned a great deal from his guidance and wisdom, and it has been an immensely enjoyable experience. I really look forward to collaborating with the new co-Editor-in-Chief.鈥
