This conference will give the opportunity to scientists involved in silicon-based chemistry and technology to meet and discuss their work and its context both formally and informally. The conference will concentrate on recent achievements at the forefront of the science and technology of silicon compounds as well as looking forward to the future. The aim is to develop a continuing and intensified dialogue between young scientists, academia and business.
