Introduction
The Royal Society of ÉîÒ¹¸£Àû¹ú²ú¾«Æ·'s team of qualified career and professional development advisers are available for free one-to-one, confidential consultations on any aspect of your career. One-to-one career consultations are available to members remotely and we sometimes run face-to-face consultations at selected events.  

 On 29 May, we are offering career consultations.  

 What topics do career consultations cover? 

Career consultations with our career and professional development advisers are 45 minutes long, tailored to your career stage and could include: 
 
  • guidance on how to manage your career and a review of your career so far 
  • help planning your next steps amidst uncertainty 
  • advice and support if you’re facing redundancy, are unemployed or preparing for retirement 
  • advice on making a career change or taking a break 
  • strategies for job searching, including CV writing and interview techniques 
  • suggestions for networking, including maximising your LinkedIn profile and membership 
  • how to effectively use Professional Development tools

The RSC Chemists’ Community Fund is here to provide RSC Members and their families with wellbeing and financial support: /funding-and-support/chemists-community-fund

To book a career consultation, you must have current, up-to-date membership with the Royal Society of ÉîÒ¹¸£Àû¹ú²ú¾«Æ· and be one of the following membership categories: 

Professionally registered Affiliate member (RSci/RSciTech) â€“ eligible for a one-time consultation 

Associate member (AMRSC) â€“ eligible for a one-time consultation 

Member (MRSC) â€“ eligible for an unlimited number of consultations 

Fellow (FRSC) – eligible for an unlimited number of consultations 

Any member and dependants referred via the Chemists’ Community Fund: /funding-and-support/chemists-community-fund
